Because we know how cool and exciting achieving your goals and seeing your vision manifest into reality can be.

Resilience is rooted in how you structure your life. If you’re going to live the life you want, as Proverbs 29:18 reminds us…You need to have ‘VISION’ (dreams). And if you have a vision, then you have to have goals.

Studies show visualization can improve motivation, coordination, and concentration while reducing fear and anxiety. And what’s the best way to visualize your goals and dreams — with a vision board? A vision board is a valuable visualization tool that allows you to lay out your ideal future using pictures and words. A vision board is a very powerful way of channeling the positive concrete representation of your overarching desires and aspirations you want.

If you’re truly committed to propelling your career or life to greater heights, then embracing the power of a vision board is a must. As someone who passionately believes in the magic of vision boards, I can attest to their incredible ability to transform dreams into tangible realities. So, let’s delve into some straightforward steps that will empower you to craft a vision board that sparks daily motivation and serves as a delightful reminder to pause and reflect on your deepest life desires. Trust me, this isn’t just about setting goals; it’s about infusing joy and purpose into your journey.

    1. Define what success looks like for you

The most common problem I see many faces along the success journey is that people are trying to accomplish goals that are not their own. So, before you make a vision board, it’s important to define the ideal vision of what success looks like for you. Understand that the world will constantly attempt to define success for you. However, I want you to remember that your idea of success needs to be as unique as you are. That may look vague at first, but that can narrow into clearer words later down the road.

    2. Set S.M.A.R.T goals

Regardless of your industry, research shows a direct correlation between goal setting and increased success. The most important part of the goal-setting process is to get super Specific on what you want to achieve. You also want to ensure your goals are Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Timely. The most important thing is to set highly motivating goals that move you closer to where you want to be.

Key questions you will want to consider are:

    • What timeframe do you need to achieve this goal?
    • What actions do you need to take to achieve this goal?
    • What resources do you need to achieve this goal?
    • Who can help you achieve this goal?

    3. Gather inspiration that represents your life goals

You’ll want to gather words, quotes, and photos representing your life goals. Inspiration can be found anywhere just ensure they are as specific as possible. You can browse magazines for inspirational images. I like to do my board digitally, so I browse images online and save them to a folder.

    4. Put your vision board together

Whether you are creating your board digitally or using a large poster board, glue, and markers to make our vision boards. The objective is to get creative in how you want your life to look and feel. Use various bold or muted colors and textures to make your vision more authentic to who you are. Now that you have created your vision board, you’ll want to put it where it’s always visible and serves as motivation.

    5. Celebrate your successes

Your vision board is a manifesting tool that gives you a clear roadmap to manifesting your goals. But here’s the secret sauce: Along the way, don’t forget to celebrate your successes, both big and small. Each milestone achieved is a testament to your dedication and a step closer to manifesting your vision. The more you celebrate your successes, the more motivated you will feel to continue the journey and the more wins you will get.

Now, embrace this journey with enthusiasm and self-love, knowing that your vision board is not just a pretty collage; it’s a living testament to your commitment to creating the life you truly desire.

Go forth, be bold, and let your vision board be a constant source of inspiration, reminding you of your power to shape your destiny. May it guide you towards a future that resonates deeply with your authentic self. Here’s to manifesting your dreams and living a life that’s authentically yours!
