    Asia Hilliard founded Trapstix, a trendsetting brand that blends her love of lip balm with hip-hop and pop, creating one of the most talked-about items on TikTok. This 20-year-old Howard University student went viral during the pandemic, catapulting her brand from less than 75 orders in its first two years to over 50,000 lip balms to date. Shipping to over 30 countries, Trapstix is a must-have for the Gen Z crowd.

    What’s so special about this lip balm brand? This business-savvy young lady used a play on words, mixing names of hip-hop and pop artists with fruity lip balm flavors. Meet Gucci Mango, Leminem, and J. Cola, to name a few.

    As a biology and chemistry major, Major Aysia offers first-rate all-natural products and exceptional customer service to shoppers from the comfort of their own homes. Thanks to her mom and dad, the Trapstix brand is growing. The team is constantly working to improve the brand experience while creating more flavors to add to her popular collection.

    Aysia credits her dad, who manages the finances, and her mom, who handles logistics, so she can focus on making new products and creating content to engage and grow the audience. She is committed to giving people what they want and maintaining the excitement around the brand. “It’s not about me,” says Hilliard. I put artists out that people want to see. It’s really for the people.”
