Well, starting this Saturday, Rebecca Taylor is offering complimentary babysitting, manicures, workout classes, and hairstyling at their 980 Madison Avenue store. For the “Saturday Services” the Rebecca Taylor brand has strategically aligned with DryBar, Hello Sitter, Pure Barre, and Paint Box, who all operate in the NYC area. Rebecca Taylor is planning on offering one service each week with a geo-targeted email sent to people in the neighborhood highlighting the particular service.
According to Janice Sullivan — CEO, besides helping to bring traffic into the store, Saturday Services was conceived to help customers maximize their time by aligning activations that would enhance the shopping experience. Recognizing the many demands on women from juggling careers to raising children, the company developed the program to help their customers. Instead of doing “book signings or talk about finances, this makes her life easier.” The brand wanted to do something more thoughtful that adds value.
The Rebecca Taylor Saturday Services will run through December at the Madison store, then rolled out with added services to other locations next year. The best part, services are open to everyone, and a purchase not required to participate. “Convenience has become a modern-day luxury, and we want to serve her in a purposeful way,” said Sullivan.
