A look inside the USA TODAY NETWORK 12-city series of wine and food events featuring top chefs, wine tastings and great bites from America’s best restaurants.
I had a chance to live life like a wine connoisseur — for at least one day — with a VIP invite to the The Martha Stewart Wine & Food Experience, presented by the USA TODAY NETWORK. The gourmet event, which is part of a 12-city culinary tour, featured celebrity chefs, lifestyle experts, signature bites from local restaurants alongside beer, spirits and wine, plus exclusive experiences such as a selfie garden from La Croix, and sponsored VIP lounges.
Guests were able to see Martha Stewart and other top chefs in action as they offered entertaining tips while preparing delectable dishes on the Culinary Stage. Besides rubbing shoulders with celeb chefs and devouring food and wine all day, event attendees were also able to partake in a hands-on Michael’s apron decorating experience; and a culinary experience at The Grateful House, where they made their own salsa. VIP attendees were able to indulge in top-tier wine and private meet-and-greet and Q&A with Martha Stewart herself.
This was a prime destination for wine lovers and foodies alike, as the event featured awesome chefs from Bricolage, Baked, and God’s Love We Deliver inthe NYC area, which means new places to visit during the year. It’s not like it’s everyday you can make a reservation to sample the foods of the ‘who’s who’ in food and beverage, while experiencing the people in your city.
