    Hi there, I’m Nicole Palmer, and yes, I’ve been down that road.

    I’m the founder of Nicole Williams Collective, a brand and management consultancy that helps people just like you. I’ve been featured in notable media, worked with some household brands, and serve amazing private clients. But let me be clear—it wasn’t always this way.

    For years, I faced frustration, roadblocks, and outright failures.
    Every. Single. Day.

    Like many entrepreneurs, I started with big dreams. After working for small businesses, I decided it was time to create my own. I had a background in fashion marketing and later went back to school for communications. Naturally creative and a problem-solver at heart, I was convinced I had everything I needed to succeed.

    How hard could it be, right?

    I thought I knew the formula: grab some materials, fire up my sewing machine, and start selling. And for a moment, I felt like I was off to the races.

    Turns out, that was the high point.

    What followed was a rollercoaster of pivoting. From designing clothes to interning at a fashion flagship brand, managing a boutique, diving into makeup artistry, styling, event and wedding planning, and all the while helping small business owners develop their brands. It felt like I was doing everything yet getting nowhere. The truth? I had NO idea what I was doing. And I had to learn that lesson the hard way.

    Coaching Changed My Trajectory

    Eventually, I realized I needed help. So, I found a coach named Steve—savvy, successful, and intuitive. He knew what it took to build a thriving business. Steve gave it to me straight, and let me tell you, it wasn’t always easy to hear. But it was exactly what I needed.

    The hard truth? Like you, I wasn’t treating my business like a business. I was frantically chasing “magic bullets,” hoping the next thing I tried would somehow save me. But successful entrepreneurs know there’s no magic bullet. A thriving business isn’t built on luck; it’s like a symphony. Everything needs to work together in harmony.

    Working with Steve helped drive home the point: ‘I had to start acting like an entrepreneur.’

    That was the lightbulb moment. I’d been running around like a chicken with its head cut off—constantly searching for the latest, greatest tactic that might work. But a business is like a great recipe. You can’t just throw ingredients together and hope for the best. You need the right ingredients combined in the right way to create the perfect dish.

    With a fresh perspective and a renewed sense of purpose, I got to work. This time, I did it right. I made sure every part of my business—my mindset, messaging, marketing, sales strategy, processes, the people I worked with, and even my money management—was working together seamlessly.

    And that’s how Nicole Williams Collective really took off.

    Here’s What I Learned:

    Being great at what you do isn’t enough. You also need a strategy to show people why they should care. It’s not about what you think is cool; it’s about delivering products or services that meet your audience’s needs. And then, you have to be reliable. When you promise something, you’ve got to deliver.

    That’s exactly what we focus on when working with our clients. We help them package and position their expertise in a way that grabs attention. Then, we build credibility so we can pitch them to the media and seize opportunities. As the publicity rolls in, their credibility (and sales) grow even more.

    Of course, pricing is critical, too. We ensure our clients price their offers correctly so they turn sales into profit, not losses.
