The reality is that life is fab over 40 I’m more fulfilled, comfortable in my skin, and am living life on my own terms.
Who said it’s all downhill after 40?
To date, I’ve almost spent half a century on the planet. But my best years are still ahead.
I’m Nicole a Georgia-based mom, entrepreneur, consultant, and content creator. Through my consulting work, I lead women entrepreneurs and small businesses in knowing their value and creating an impact.
I would have never thought being over 40 would feel so fabulous! And it might just be the best decade yet. There are so many misperceptions women face as we grow older. But I’ve found that hitting 40 is just the beginning!
I found myself, learned to love myself, and embraced all imperfections. I figured out what I want from life and have gotten super clear on my values. I’m hitting peak confidence, my life is a bit more peaceful, and I live with less fear. I don’t care much about what others think, I’ve distanced myself from toxic people, trust my instincts more, and am more conscious about my health and well-being.
I most certainly no longer spend time pretending to be someone I’m not, doing things that don’t light me up and are definitely not people-pleasing. Instead, now I flaunt being over 40 by boldly and unapologetically betting on myself and redefining and living life on my own terms. I’m wiser and more comfortable in my skin. I can intuitively handle situations that used to knock me down. I’m innovating, breaking the rules, making mistakes, and having fun!
With that said, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and together with other women from all over the world, I am celebrating being over 40 while supporting the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
