If you’re a mother, I am sure you’ve felt like a total failure a few times in your life.  And, because parenting comes with no manual, we end up overwhelmed and struggling to live up to the “perfect” mom ideal.

As moms, we worry about being judged by others or being viewed as ‘bad moms’. Not to mention, the overwhelming pressure to be all things to everyone! To the outside world, your life may seem perfect. But, behind it all, you’re probably on the verge of a total nervous breakdown.  Struggling to hold down your kids, your significant other, your boss, and with barely enough time for yourself. So, if you’re yearning for a way to let loose, then “Bad Moms”, is the perfect therapy for you.

“Bad Moms” the funny and relatable movie brings therapy in the form of laughter for all moms. Beneath all the profanity, nudity, and heavy drinking is a story that resonates with moms around the globe. Leave the kids at home, because the R rating is for a reason — sexual material, full-frontal nudity, alcohol, and profanity throughout. In a nutshell, “Bad Moms” caters to all the moms that long to get in touch with their inner delinquent.

Amy (Mila Kunis), a fed-up coffee salesperson, mother of two, wife of a man-child, trying to be superwoman; joins forces with Carla (Kathryn Hahn) and Kiki (Kristen Bell) to liberate themselves from conventional mommy responsibilities. Indulging in some long overdue freedom, bringing life as they knew it to a crashing halt. And, before you know it, they’re in a battle with the condescending PTA president Gwendolyn (Christina Applegate) and her devoted perfect mom clique.

Carla the baddest of the bad moms, electrified the audience with her sweet yet foul-mouth personality. I’m not sure if the movie would be the same without her hilariously quotable lines. And in the end, when the PTA moms started confessing their sins, it gave a sense of relief to moms everywhere who thought they were bad moms.

As moms, we will do anything for our kids. But if you find yourself with fantasies of getting in a car accident just serious enough to get a few weeks of hospital rest, then grab your mommy clique and go see “Bad Moms”.

How do you go about getting in touch with your inner delinquent?
