As an entrepreneur and the editor behind my own lifestyle platform, I have a bit of a unique perspective when it comes to getting media or press.

How to Land Media For Your Brand

If you are a business owner, part of a nonprofit, a marketing or public relations professional, then you understand the value of landing media and what good press attention can bring to your brand. Media attention can make the phone ring, create customers out of thin air, and drive traffic to your website, as well as lead to more press.

Even though PR and communications professionals like myself, makes it feel like it’s free. Good press isn’t always free, it is also not necessarily something you can buy. There are many ways to land media and get good press, that is, if you don’t mind putting in the work.

In this episode of The Open Conversations Podcast, Dawn Kelly, Sharon Devonish-Leid and myself explore how to land media for your brand. We share wisdom, insights, and tools to keep in mind when looking to land media and get your name in the press.

Listen to “The Open Conversations Podcast” on Spreaker.

This episode is brought to you by my Nicole Williams Collective where it is our mission to help you lead confidently and live fearlessly. If you are ready to get intentional with how you show up, connect with me to bossed up.

Go ahead and leave a comment and/or a review on your favorite listening platform. As your review helps the show climb the rankings and be heard by more go-getters like you! That is, fellow ladies who are seeking to communicate, live, and lead with confidence!
