If you are tired of feeling unsure about who are, your worth, and are ready to step bravely into your purpose, Bet On Yourself is for you!
Everyone has a story… Here’s mine, in my own words!
I’m Nicole Palmer a mom, lifestyle blogger, and owner of Nicole Williams Collective. I got started in business by being bold and curious in the face of fear. Originally from Jamaica (the island), I moved to Brooklyn, New York when I was 17. I had to fight for opportunities that were more difficult because of my legal status… or the lack thereof. But the experience allowed me to flex my muscles of being an ambitious entrepreneur.
Over the years, I met many aspiring and established women who had incredible vision and ideas. But they lacked the confidence, expertise, and know-how to achieve their goals. So I created a business to better serve them. On my blog and podcast, I share content related to career, productivity, entrepreneurship, self-development, and lifestyle to inspire women to succeed on their own terms.
About the Bet On Yourself book
Then I decided to write Bet On Yourself: Life Lessons to Cultivate and Create Your Own Success.
This book is a deeply honest and practical guide offering inspiration, insights, and tactical strategies on all things self-discovery, self-love, and knowing your worth.
I wrote this book to help women [though relevant to everyone] realize everything they need to succeed personally and professionally is already inside of them. I hope to encourage women to grow their personal brand, form healthy habits, and know their value so they can reach their full potential.
Not that long ago, I was at a low in my life. Worse, once I finally started getting back on my feet, I began accepting terms far beneath my worth, and failed miserably and repeatedly as my health paid the price. So if you are questioning your life right now, tired of feeling unsure about who you are and your worth, or looking to reinvent yourself — you’re not alone.
Why I released Bet On Yourself
I’ve always wanted to write a book. But writing a book is no easy task, as it can be very challenging to get your ideas organized. Plus, I’m one of those people who are guilty of having too many ideas. But just like anything, when you make the decision to do it — it gets done.
Here’s the thing! When I thought about writing a book, I didn’t think anyone would want to read my story. I mean, I was just an everyday Black girl from Jamaica working hard to make it out here in the streets. However, I wanted to share my story to help other women who were struggling with the same things I was.
I didn’t really do the things people did when they write a book, so it cost me some PR points. Nevertheless, it did better than I thought. People would tell me they read my book and how it helped them and the value they got.
Recently, I thought since I didn’t do it right before and so much has happened since I first wrote the book, why not do a reboot and rerelease it? I updated the cover and my name (since I had a name change), made a few basic edits to the content, and also added a hardcover version.
Grab a copy or two of Bet On Yourself
