A Classic Blue and White Brooklyn Sweet 16

When Mya-Ling and her mom set out to plan her dream sweet 16, their main goal was prioritizing the most important details and not stressing the rest. Pondering their trendy stationery, these two wanted to create the most modern and elegant yet totally chic and energetic sweet 16 celebration.

Mya-Ling and her mom were my dream client who found their way to me through the Princess Manor Catering Hall. Their event styling was intentionally thought out and pulled together using soft monochromatic baby blue and white tones laced with silver and a hint of Ostrich feathers. This classic blue and white sweet 16 goes to show, that when clients are really clear on what they want, articulate their needs, and trust the professional to deliver, magic can be created. Yes, even on a budget.

There was an element of luxury brought into styling this event, which was a beautiful composition of draping that evoked sheer elegance. Mya-Ling’s makeup was a soft and feminine look with soft curls and a silver crown. She looked stunning in her white gown and upped the fun factor when she changed into her second dress.

In the end, Mya-Ling’s big day ended up being just what they dreamed of: a beautiful and intimate affair that displayed a mother’s love for her daughter and celebrated with their family and friends. Keep scrolling to view more photos of Mya-Ling’s sweet 16.
